It’s vital that young trans people understand that they can have a future

not can, do and will. it shouldn’t be a “maybe”, because it’s not. It’s a definite thing - young trans people **have** a future, and we need to guide and lead them into it with open hearts and open minds

For anybody doubting this - please look at this photobook of older trans adults, who have not only survived, but thrived. You do have a future. You just have to believe in yourself.

To my polyamorous couples!

It’s ok!

You can be at different points in your relationships!

You may have a husband with whom you’re ready to have kids and a boyfriend with whom you haven’t even gotten sexual!

You may have 2 girlfriends and only have told one “I love you!”

Unless you all started dating at the exact same time, then you aren’t in the same point with both/all of your partners!!!

And even if you did all start dating at the exact same time, different relationships are different, and that’s okay too! You can feel differently about different people but still cherish all of them and make them feel special about the unique things that you share.

reproductive rights issues:

  • abortion
  • birth control

also reproductive rights issues:

  • doctors performing c sections during births without informed consent
  • eugenics via sterilization requirements for trans people to change documentation
  • eugenics via forced/nonconsenting sterilization of disabled people
  • eugenics via forced/nonconsenting sterilization of people of color
  • eugenics via selective abortion of disabled fetuses (fetuses with Down syndrome especially) (these are abortions sought by people who WANT to be pregnant–but only with non-disabled children, when there’s absolutely no guarantee that a non-disabled child won’t become disabled)

if your reproductive rights activism doesn’t incorporate ALL OF THE ABOVE, i want no part of it.

also

- doctors deliberately stitching their female patients genitals tighter than necessary / than is safe to “make sex more enjoyable for their spouse”

- doctors refusing to perform sterilization on people because “they’ll change their minds and want children down the road”

THIS THIS THIS

Also doctors performing genital corrective surgery on intersex infants and children.

idk why women in action movies are still getting forced into skintight suits and high heeled boots when sigourney weaver proved nearly 40 years ago in alien (1979) that the hottest thing in cinema is buff ladies in tank tops

broke: women in clothes that show off their boobs and/or ass

WOKE: women in sleeveless tops that show off their huge muscular arms
